Mallori
Mallori McClure is the newest member of the Bass Hair Salon team. She recently graduated from Roffler Hair School and has been a customer of Bass for many years. Mallori graduated at the top of her class and was highly recommended by the owner of the school. Since graduating, she has continued her education with various opportunities, including precision cutting classes from Paul Mitchell. She specializes in men and women’s haircuts, as well as color and waxing services. On her off days, Mallori enjoys cooking and spending time with family.
Kristina
Kristina Boswell is one of our recent graduates from Roffler Hair School. She began at Bass Hair Salon as a hair replacement assistant to the owner, Jerry, before attending school. While in school, she continued to work at Bass and further her education in the salon. Since graduation, Kristina has attended additional classes and training in hair replacement. While continuing to work in hair replacement, Kristina also specializes in men and women’s haircuts as well as wig sales and services. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Terri
Terri Kemp graduated from Empire Beauty School in Kennesaw, GA and has been an active hairstylist for more than ten years. Terri began at Bass shortly after school and has recently returned to join the salon team. She specializes in Schwartzkopf and Framesi color and has attended various educational and certification classes by these and other educators. Terri specializes in men and women's precision cutting, color and highlight services, permanent waves and facial waxing. During her time off, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Joy
Joy Stymest graduated from Roffler Hair College in 1993. Shortly after finishing school, she came to Bass Styling Center, where she worked for a few years to gain her stylist experience. She has continued her hair education since her days at the original Bass location by attending various additional classes, including hair color application, multi-dimensional highlighting, and precision hair cutting. Joy arrived at Bass Hair Salon this year and we welcomed her with open arms. She specializes in various hair cuts for men and women, as well as color, highlights, and permanent waves. On her off days, Joy enjoys spending time with her family and two children.
Christy
Christy Franklin, a long time client of Bass, began her career here four years ago, shortly after graduating from Chattahoochee Technical College and receiving her Cosmetology License. While in school, she also attended classes at Roffler Hair College to master her barber skills. Since becoming a hairdresser, Christy has advanced her skills with continuous training, both in and out of the salon. Some of these include Paul Mitchell cut and color classes, Alterna cutting classes, and Schwartzkopf color certification. Christy specializes in hair cutting, color, highlights, permanent waves, and straighteners. When she’s not busy with her growing career, Christy enjoys running and spending time with family and friends.
Beth
Beth Seay attended Roffler Hair College and began her career in 1993. She started working at Bass one year after the Salon moved to Marietta in 1998 and has recently become our resident Color Specialist. She has received extensive training with Schwartzkopf color and specializes in all chemical services. Beth enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, Ardie and Jake.
Charlene
Charlene Knight has been a stylist for fifteen years and has made Bass her home since then. Initially receiving her education from Roffler Hair College, she has continued with various education classes, including those by Paul Mitchell, Scruples, and Schwartzkopf. Charlene specializes in hair cutting, color, highlights, permanent waves, straighteners and facial waxing and tinting. She lives with her family in Marietta and enjoys spending time with them.
Rhonda
Rhonda Tibbs began as a shampoo assistant in 1977 at the original Bass Styling Center in Smyrna, GA. She attended Roffler Hair College and became a master stylist. Rhonda then began working full time as a stylist in 1980 and continues to provide excellent service to the clients of Bass today. In her earlier years as a stylist, she attended many classes offered at Hair Shows and around the Atlanta area and she continues her education today at seminars and demonstrations offered in the salon. Rhonda specializes in hair cutting, colors, highlights, and perms. When not at work, Rhonda enjoys working out and riding motorcycles with her husband.
Jean
Jean Bass, the original owner of Bass Styling Center along with her husband Dewey, began her career as a hair stylist in 1970. She and Dewey, as well as Kim and Jerry, the current owners of the salon, traveled the world competing in various Hair Shows. Her training is extensive and comes from all over the world, including Paris and Japan. She now specializes in Ladies and Men’s hair cutting. When she is not spending time at the salon, she and Dewey enjoy traveling and seeing the world together.
Jerry
Jerry Potts specializes in precision haircutting for men and women. He likes the challenge of finding solutions for problem hair and hair loss. He has 32 years of hair styling experience and more than 35 awards. Jerry participated on three USA teams in International competitions; winning two gold medals, a silver and bronze. He has also competed in hairstyling competitions on regional, national and international levels and taught hair design on the international level. After attending Roffler Hair College in 1976 in Atlanta, Jerry has continued his education in haircutting, styling and hair replacement at annual shows and classes around the country.
Jerry and his wife, Kim Potts, have owned Bass Hair Salon since 1988. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family.
